NMU Football Spring Practice Schedule Released

MARQUETTE, Mich. – For 15 dates during the months of March and April the Northern Michigan University football team will return to action for their annual spring practice which will culminate in the Spring Game at 4:30 p.m. April 12 at the Superior Dome.

The Wildcats under second-year head coach Chris Ostrowsky will begin their spring practice at 7:20 a.m. March 18 and will practice a total of 14 times leading up to the spring game.

Ostrowsky has scheduled two scrimmages as part of the spring practice, the first on March 29th will be a scripted scrimmage for the Wildcats. The second scrimmage will be on April 5 will be a full scrimmage for NMU.

NMU will hold a Spring Showcase Festival at 6 p.m. on April 11 in Vandament Arena. All fans are encouraged to attend and join in the fun.

At 2:45 p.m. on April 12, prior to the spring game, NMU will hold a youth clinic for all kids from pre-kindergarten to eighth grade. The cost is free to all kids.

All NMU spring football practices are open to the public.
