J.T. Jurasin joined the football staff in 2016 after playing two seasons for the Wildcats.
Jurasin joined the staff as a student assistant and was responsible for coaching the team's running backs during spring practices. He then transition to a full time role of coaching quarterbacks for the 2016 season. During this season, he ran individual portions of practice as well as coordinated the scout team for the offense and special teams. On game day, he was responsible for charting plays and calling coverages.
Starting in 2017, he transitioned again, this time leading the receivers. For three seasons, Jurasin handled offensive opponent breakdowns and helped install plays and strategies in addition to working with all phases of special teams. He also coordinated all recruiting weekends and handled team scholarship breakdown. During games he was in charge of signaling the offense as well as handling timeout meetings.
In January 2019, he returned to leading the team's quarterbacks.
