Men's Golf Finishes Doc Spragg Fall Invitational

FINDLAY, Ohio -- The Northern Michigan University Men's Golf team finished the Doc Spragg Fall Invitational which was shortened to just two rounds due to rain on the second day.

The Wildcats finished 15th out of the 18 team field.

Senior Austin Elsner (New London, Wis.) led the team with rounds of 73 and 74 to finish +3 with a score of 147 to tie in 21st place

Sophomore Kyle Pouliot (Gladstone, Mich.) tied for 41st place after rounds of 73 and 77 to finish with a score of 150.

Tied for 55th, senior Owen Beyer (DeWitt, Mich.) finished with a final score of 153 after rounds of 77 and 76.

Tied for 74th place was senior Logan Haight (Ostego, Mich.), posting rounds of 80 and 78 to finish at 158. 

Rounding out the NMU team was junior Kurtis Fontinha (Penticton, B.C./Penticton Secondary) with rounds of 80 and 79 to finish tied for 80th place with a final score of 159.

The men's golf team will enjoy time away from the course before returning action Sunday, October 14th as they participate in the Motor City Invititional in Dearborn, Michigan.
