LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Boston College will face Michigan Tech, followed by Arizona State versus Northern Michigan, when the first college hockey games are played at T-Mobile Arena in the inaugural Ice Vegas Invitational on Friday, Jan. 5, 2018. The championship and consolation games will be played Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, with game times both days scheduled for 5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
"First the NHL, now premier college hockey," said Brooks Downing, president of bd Global (www.bdglobalsports.com), the event promoter. "Vegas is obviously a hockey destination, as all four teams were quick to commit to this inaugural event. Even our subsequent years are filling up 3-4 years out for this event. Top teams and future pros will all be on display in Ice Vegas!"
