    MARQUETTE, Mich.—Northern Michigan University Men’s Soccer Head Coach David Poggi announced the signing of midfielder Isaac Ward to the 1029 roster. Ward is the second signee of the early signing period for a team set to return nearly their entire roster for next year.

    MARQUETTE, Mich.—Northern Michigan University Men's Soccer senior defender Kevin Hoof (Maple Grove, Minnesota) was named NCAA Division II Second Team Scholar All-America by the United Soccer Coaches. Hoof was also named to the USC NCAA Division II Men's Scholar All-North/Central Region Team for the second-consecutive season earlier this week.

It is the second-consecutive season that Hoof has received the honor.

Senior defender Kevin Hoof (Maple Grove, Minnesota) and senior forward Sam Popp (Northville, Michigan) were both named to the first team, while junior midfielder Callum Olpin (Norwich, England) received third team honors.

The D2CCA all-region teams are nominated and selected by the region’s sports information directors.

Junior midfielder Callum Olpin (Norwich, England) and senior defender Kevin Hoof (Maple Grove, Minnesota) were named to the first team, while senior forward Sam Popp (Northville, Michigan) received second team honors. Freshman midfielder Kaffie Kurz (Paynesville, Liberia) garnered honorable mention accolades.
