2012-13: Lettered for the first time. Qualified for the NCAA Championships, finishing 15th overall in the freestyle and 14th in the classic race. Won the 5K classic (18:55.0) and second in the 10K freestyle at the Wildcat Open (Dec. 1-2). Also placed second in the freestyle at the St. Scholastica Christmas Classic (Dec. 15-16). At the U.S. Nationals (Jan. 2-6), finished 87th (32nd in age division) in the 1.3K classic sprint, 86th (27th in age division) in the 10K freestyle and 18th overall in the 20K classic. Finished 18th in the 15K classic at the Tour de Twin Cities SuperTour (Jan. 19-20). Took third in the 5.8K classic and 23rd in the 15.7 freestyle at the Saints Invite (Jan. 26-27). In the first round of the CCSA Championships (Feb. 2-3), placed 11th in the 1.6 freestyle sprint and member of the winning 3x5K classic relay team with teammates Rosie Frankowski and Jordyn Ross. Placed fifth in the 5K classic and seventh in the 15K freestyle at the CCSA Championships (Feb. 16-17). At the NCAA Central Regional (Feb. 23-24), finished sixth in the 5K classic. CCSA skier of the week (Feb. 21). All-CCSA first team selection. Named team’s newcomer of the year.

High School:  Nordic Skiing: Three-time All-American. Two-time Jr. National silver medalist. Two-time New England Jr. National Team member. Team was national champions. Two-time high school’s most valuable skier. New England Eastern High School champion. Team was 2009 Vermont state champions. Two-time captain and Marble Valley League champion. Received the Mike Gallaher Award.

Cross Country: Two-time DI Vermont state runner-up. Finished eighth in 2010 and 16th in 2009 at the New England Cross Country Qualifier. Two-time most valuable runner. Gatorade Athlete of the Year nominee. Two-time team captain and two-time Marble Valley League champion.

Personal:  A 2011 graduate of Rutland High School. Likes exercising, reading, collaging and traveling. Majoring in management of health and fitness. Daughter of Christine and Anthony Cirelli. Received the Vermont Principal’s Association Award, the Daughter’s of the American Revolution Award and the Italian American Scholarship. Also a member of the NMU Cross Country team.
