2015-16: Finished sixth in the 30K freetyle with a time of 1:20:52.5 at the U.S. Skiing Championships. Earned two top-10 finishes at the Telemark Chase and two top-five finishes at the CCSA Invitational and CCSA Championships. Won the 10K freestyle at the NCAA Central Regional Championships after clocking in at 24:36.6, more than a minute faster than the second-place finisher. Also took second in the 20K classic at the NCAA Central Regional with a time of 1:01:02.8. Named to the all-CCSA first team. Represented Northern Michigan at the NCAA National Championship, earning second team All-American honors after taking ninth in the 10K freestyle with a time of 23:02.9.

Before NMU: Competed at St. Olaf College, where he earned first team all-CCSA honors in 2014 and second team all-CCSA accolades in 2015. In 2015, also earned all-region honors and competed at the NCAA Championships. Placed 11th at the 2014 U.S. Nationals in the 30km freestyle race.

At Minnehaha Academy, earned all-conference and all-state honors in skiing. Also placed third in the freestyle race at the 2010 state meet. In cross country, his team placed second at the state championship meet in 2006 and third in 2009. He placed third in the 3,200-meter run at the 2010 state championship meet. Also competed for Fast Performance Training.
