2015-16: Won four events, including two in the junior division at the U.S. Skiing Championships, and placed in the top three in four more over the course of the season. Represented the U.S. at the World Junior Championships, where he was the top U.S. finisher in the 15K freestyle, posting a time of 32:43.3 to take 15th. Named to the all-CCSA first team. Earned first team All-American accolades in the 10K freestyle (2nd, 22:17.4) and 20K classic (4th, 50:22.1). Named team's co-MVP.

2014-15: In classic races, had four top-10 finishes, including a victory in the junior 10K at the U.S. National Championships after clocking in at 30:46.6. Added five top-10 finishes in freestyle events, including a third-place finish at the U.P. Invite (26:41.1) and a pair of fourth-place finishes at the Telemark Chase and NMU Open. Named team's Newcomer of the Year.

Before NMU: Competed for the Loppet Nordic Racing club team. Was a junior national champion in the 10K freestyle in 2013. In 2014, was the Korlelopet Champion and led Loppet to a junior national championship.
