GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Northern Michigan University Men's Swim & Dive won the Calvin College Invitational, defeating Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foe Grand Valley State University in the process.

The Wildcats finished with a team score of 2,042 points while GVSU tallied 1,910. In third place, Calvin notched 1,230 points. University of Findlay, Grove City College and Kalamazoo College rounded out the meet.
| ANOTHER B-CUT
Senior Renars Bundzis (Riga, Latvia) secured an NCAA B-Cut time during his leadoff leg of the 200-yard Medley Relay. Bundzis posted a time of 22.52.
| DAPKUS WINS THE 500
Senior Grantus Dapkus (Kaunas, Lithuania) captured the 500-yard Freestyle and posted a winning time of 4:30.47. Senior Janne Roovers (Khobar, Saudi Arabia) came in fourth place with a time of 4:35.35 while freshman Jon Busse (Stillwater, Minn.), 4:35.57, came in fifth place.

Senior Arnoldo Herrera (Heredia, Costa Rica) won the 200-yard Breaststroke by touching the wall at 2:01.34. In third place, freshman Lukas Bauer (Redwood City, Calif.) took third place in a time of 2:03.03 and senior Benjamin Lindberg (Skelleftea, Sweden) was fourth in 2:05.16.
| WINNING THE 100 FREE
Junior Lajos Budai (Kecskemet, Hungary) gave the Wildcats a first-place finish in the 100-yard Freestyle with a time of 44.75. Junior Jonas Reinhold (Nienhagen, Germany), 45.88, won third place. Senior Maks Kapustin (Minneapolis, Minn.) was sixth, freshman Henry Bauer (Howell, Mich.) was seventh with senior Joshua Cosgrove (Bury, U.K.) was eighth.
| DIVING IN
During yesterday's portion of the meet, senior Kyle Flickinger (Brimley, Mich.) won the men's 3-Meter Diving with a score of 379.70. In tonight's portion, Flickinger returned and won the 1-Meter Dive by posting a score of 388.50.

The Wildcats will next compete while in Florida during their winter training sessions. They then return to PEIF Pool to take on Division I foe University of Wisconsin Green Bay on Saturday, January 12.
