NMU Women's Basketball alumn Annie Rubendunst enters her first season as an assistant coach in the 2014-15 season.
2013-14: Rubendunst started in 18 games including 14 of the final 15 games of the season. She averaged 9.6 points a game with a career-high 23 in an 82-64 victory over Northwood. She also averaged 5.4 rebounds per game. She was named to the GLAIC All-Tournament Team
2012-13: Earned third letter after appearing in 23 games, starting at Grand Valley (Jan. 10). Tallied 29 points, 34 rebounds, seven assists and five blocks. Scored 12 points vs. Ashland (Jan. 3). Had eight points and seven rebounds at Ohio Dominican (Dec. 16). Named to GLIAC academic excellence team.
2011-12: Lettered for the second time. Appeared in all 27 games, starting 11. Recorded 121 points and 83 rebounds. Tallied double digit points in four games, including a career-high 16 points at Saginaw Valley State (Jan. 12). Scored 15 points vs. Ohio Dominican (Dec. 10), making 5-of-6 from three-point territory. Pulled down nine rebounds at Lake Superior State (Jan. 14) Recorded three assists at Urbana (Nov. 19). Had eight rebounds and four steals at SVSU. Named to GLIAC academic excellence team.
2010-11: Lettered. Appeared in 12 games. Tallied 15 rebounds and five points. Made a three-point basket at Tiffin (Jan. 2). Scored a field goal vs. Northwood (Jan. 29). Pulled down six rebounds at Lake Superior State (Feb. 10). Recorded two assists vs. Finlandia (Nov. 23).
High School: Lettered in basketball four times at Carmel High School under Scott Bowen. Was CHS’s scholar-athlete. An Indiana top 100 senior. Indian Basketball Coaches Association academic all-state mention. ICGSA academic all-state mention. Team was 2008 state champions and ranked No. 16 in the nation.
Personal: Likes hanging out with friends, reading, baking and watching movies. Majoring in social studies/secondary education. Daughter of Tom and Kim Rubendunst. Aunt Patti Tahash attended NMU. Born on February 11, 1992.
