MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Northern Michigan University women’s basketball team under the direction of head coach Troy Mattson wrapped up the 2012-13 season on March 6. The Wildcats qualified for the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament for the second year in a row and fourth time in the last five years. NMU finished 13-14 overall and 10-12 in the GLIAC, for a sixth place finish in the North Division and ninth overall.

BAY CITY, Mich. – Sophomore guard Alyssa Colla, of the Northern Michigan University women’s basketball team, has been named to the All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Second Team and sophomore guard Lauren Gruber was named to the GLIAC All-Defensive Team.
