NMU Falls in Triple OT Thriller

BEVERLY HILLS, Mich. – The Northern Michigan University Lacrosse team took on Wheeling Jesuit University in a nonconference clash that went into three overtimes but eventually fell to the Cardinals 14-13.

Freshman Emily Dvorak (Oconomowoc, Wis./Arrowhead) led the team with four goals while freshman Bianca Kinder (Haslett, Mich) and Ellie Bahr (Crystal, Minn./Benilde St. Margarets) added three. Sophomore Graison Ringlever (Mattawan, Mich.) chipped in with two goals and Hannah Seamen also a goal.

Dvorak and Ringlever each aided the offense with an assist.

NMU fell to 0-1 on the season while WJU improved to 1-2.  The Wildcats return to action Saturday as they head to St. Chares, Missouri to take on Lindenwood University.
