Ringlever Earns All-GLIAC Honor

MARQUETTE, Mich. – Sophomore Graison Ringlever (Mattawan, Mich.) became the first-ever all-conference selection for the Northern Michigan University Lacrosse program as she was named to the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference All-GLIAC Honorable Mention team.

The midfielder finished the 2018 season second on the team with 37 goals and tied for the team's lead with seven assists.  She also led the team with 29 ground balls, and 84 draw controls. She aided the defense with six caused turnovers.

Ringlever posted 10 multi-goal games, including back-to-back five-goal performances against Notre Dame College and Concordia University, St. Paul.  In the team's first-ever GLIAC victory, a 17-16 victory over Davenport University, she notched four goals and three assists while grabbing five ground balls, and nine draw controls.

During the team's game with University of Indianapolis on the final weekend of the season, Ringlever became the first player to achieve 100 draw controls in a career for the NMU squad.

Ringlever helped guide the second-year program to improvements in goals, assists, draw controls and ground balls.
