2013 NMU Soccer Schedule
MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Northern Michigan University women's soccer team has announced its schedule for the 2013 season. The Wildcats will host eight home games and play five non-conference contests.
The season kicks off on Aug. 31 with an Alumni Game at the NMU Soccer Field. The regular season opens in September with three non-conference games at Minnesota-Duluth (Sept. 5), home against Minnesota-Crookston (Sept. 7) and at Lewis (Sept. 9).
The following weekend, Michigan Tech (Sept. 12) comes to town for a non-conference matchup followed by another home game against Bemidji State (Sept. 15).
Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play begins Sept. 22 at home vs. Lake Erie College and a trip to MTU (Sept. 28) wraps up the month.
In October, the Wildcats host Northwood (Oct. 11), Saginaw Valley (Oct. 13), Ferris State (Oct. 25) and Grand Valley State (Oct. 27) on Senior Day. NMU travels to Ohio for four games during the month: Tiffin (Oct. 4), Findlay (Oct. 6), Ohio Dominican (Oct. 18) and Ashland (Oct. 20)
The regular season closes out on the road at Walsh (Nov. 1) and Malone (Nov. 3).
