Wildcat Women's Soccer Downed by Ohio Dominican

MARQUETTE, Mich. — The Northern Michigan women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 setback against Ohio Dominican Friday afternoon at NMU Soccer Field.

The Panthers netted two goals in the second half off of corner kicks to down the Wildcats.

In the 47th minute, Alli Pavlik broke the stalemate. Kelly Johnson capped the scoring in the 89th minute, deflecting a corner kick into the net off her body.

Susan D'Isidoro assisted on both Ohio Dominican goals.

Caroline Glantz made three saves. Hollie Koning took a team-high three shots, one of which was one target. Each team took five shots on net.

Northern Michigan returns to action at the NMU Soccer Field Sunday, taking on Findlay at 1 p.m.
