DULUTH TAKES THE LEAD |
Despite the Wildcats getting out to the quick start in the first half, it was Duluth that took over offensively in the second. UMD outshot NMU, 11-5, in the half to take a 15-11 advance for the contest.
After a number of offensive chances, the Bulldogs took the lead in the 65th minute after a corner kick bounced around in front of the net before finally being scored by a Duluth attacker.
