2017-18

Cross Country - Earned All-American honors at the NCAA Division II Cross Country Championships with her time of 21:33.7 (6k) and 26th place finish at the event. To earn All-Region Accolades, Burmeister finished 5th overall at the NCAA Division II Midwest Region Cross Country Championships with a 6k time of 21:39.5  Burmeister opened her season with a 4th place finish at the UW-Parkside Vic Godfrey Open in a 5k time of 17:55.8, which earned recognition as the GLIAC Runner of the Week. Finished first overall at the Bay College Invitational 5k with a time of 18:22.2. At the Lewis Conference Crossover, Burmeister finished 10th with a 6k time of 22:01.8. Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team.

Indoor – Earned All-America honors in the 5,000-meters after an 11th-place finish at the NCAA II Indoor Championships. Her time of 17:11.79 earned Burmeister a spot on the second team. Now owns the top times in program history in both the 3,000 and 5,000-meter runs. She was All-GLIAC in both events at the conference meet, including a school record performance in the 3,000-meters. Her time of 9:47.99 earned third-team honors and was the first sub-10-minute performance in program history. Burmeister finished with second-team accolades in the 5,000-meters. Her season-best in the 5,000-meters came at the GVSU Big Meet when she finished in 17:02.71, a school record. Named to GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team.

Outdoor – Burmeister advanced to the 2018 NCAA II Outdoor Championships in both the 5,000 and 10,000-meter runs after setting school record in both events. She earned her first career outdoor All-America honor in the 10,000-meters with a ninth-place finish, while she was the 14th-fastest in the 5,000-meters. Her time of 35:13.52 in the 10,000-meters broke her own school record, while she took the top spot in the program record book for the 5,000-meters at the GVSU Al Owens classic with a time of 16:49.45. Burmeister was also the GLIAC Champion in the 10,000-meters after finishing in 36:05.47 at the conference meet. Named to GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team.

2016-17

Cross Country - Became Northern Michigan's first All-American since 2005 by placing 30th (21:16.7) at the NCAA National Championship on Nov. 19. Also earned all-Midwestern Region honors by taking seventh at the NCAA Midwestern Regional on Nov. 5 with a season-best 6K time of 20:58.01. Garnered all-GLIAC first team honors for the third-straight season by finishing sixth (21:57.6) at the GLIAC Championship on Oct. 22. Was the first Wildcat to cross the line in all five races she competed in and finished in the top 10 at four of them. Named the GLIAC Athlete of the Week after racing to a sixth-place finish (23:03.6) at the Roy Griak Invitational on Sept. 24. Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team.

Indoor - Advanced to the NCAA II Championships, finishing the 5,000-meters in 11th. Began the season with a victory in the 5,000-meters at the Northern Challenge. Earned third-team All-GLIAC honors after a third-place finish in the 5,000-meters at the conference meet. Also placed fifth in the 3,000-meters at the GLIAC Championships. 

Outdoor -  Advanced to the NCAA II Championships, placing 15th in the 10,000-meters. Earned a victory in the 5,000-meters at the GVSU Al Owens Open. Picked-up second-team All-GLIAC honors with a runner-up performance in the 10,000-meters at the GLIAC Championships. 

2015-16

Cross Country - Was named the team's MVP for the second-straight season after being the first Wildcat to cross the line in six of her seven races. Finished in the top 15 at five races. Opened the season by winning the U.P. Championships with a 4K time of 14:22.8. Named the GLIAC Cross Country Athlete of the Week for her performance at the U.P. Championships. Paced the Wildcats with an 11th-place finish at the Roy Griak Invitational, clocking in at 23:08.8. Earned all-GLIAC first team accolades after taking 10th at the league's championship meet with a time of 22:19.6. Clocked fastest 6K time (21:28.776) of the season en route to a 14th-place finish at the NCAA Midwest Regional, which earned her all-Midwest Region honors. Placed 60th with a time of 21:45.80 at the NCAA National Championship. Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team.

Indoor - Placed 5th in the GLIAC Championships in the 5,000-meter (17:38.62). Ran her season best times at The Big Meet in the 5,000-meter (17:35.37) and placing 4th in the 3,000-meter (10:12.75).

Outdoor - Won the 5,000-meter run at the Augustana Viking Olympics, Border Battle and clocking in her best time at Al Owens Classic (17:20.57). Placed 3rd at the GLIAC Championship in the 10,000-meter run (37:10.44).

2014-15

Cross Country - Was named the team's MVP after being the first Wildcat to cross the line in five of her six races. Posted her season-best time of 21:11 at the GLIAC Championship, finishing 10th and earning all-GLIAC first team honors. Garnered all-Midwest Region accolades after placing 16th at the NCAA Midwest Regional with a time of 21:31. Named the GLIAC Cross Country Runner of the Week after finishing 11th with a time of 22:47 at the Roy Griak Invitational.

Indoor - Set a meet record at the Doug Hansen Invite for the 3,000-meter where she finished first with a time of 10:28.63.  Finished 10th at the GLIAC Championship (10:12.68) for the same event with her best time coming at The Big Meet (10:11.78).  Also finished in 6th at the GLIAC Championship for the 5,000-meter (17:28.50).  Ran the mile at the Lake Superior Challenge finishing in second with a time of 5:13.92.

Outdoor - Opened the outdoor season with a win in the 3,000-meter at the St. Norbert's Invite (10:23.15).  Had two wins in the 5,000-meter at the Rex Foster Invite (18:03.16) and the Al Owen Classic (17:39.69) with a season-best time and 8th place finish at the GLIAC Championship (17:39.29).

Before NMU: Was named the Runner of the Year in 2013 after winning the U.P. Championship. Earned All-State honors twice, All-Conference three times, All-U.P. three times and named to the Dream Team twice. Also earned Academic All-State honors twice.
